On Saturday, the York University Lions men's basketball team suffered a 93-63 defeat against the Ryerson Rams at the Tait McKenzie Centre.

In the second quarter, the Lions kept their stride against the Rams. Toronto native Prince Kamunga scored a three-point shot to help the Lions secure a four-point lead. The Rams answered back with baskets of their own with a dunk from Jayden Fredrick, and a jump shot from Tevaun Kokko. The Lions held their own and scored a couple buckets from Alex Thielen and a three-pointer from Connor Laronde to keep the Rams at bay, ending the half up 37-33.
