The York University Lions men's basketball team dropped their game against the Laurentian Voyageurs 76-57 – the first game of two against the Voyageurs.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The game was in reach for York after the game's first quarter, only trailing Laurentian 18-17 after seven points from Prince Kamunga.
• The second quarter was where the Voyageurs pulled away, taking a 10-point advantage in the quarter and making their lead 36-25 heading into halftime.
• The Lions had a good third quarter, but ultimately couldn't drum up enough offence to give themselves a chance to win. 

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• Somto Dimanochie came within a point of dropping 20 – he had 19 on the evening. Kamunga added a double double through 16 points and 11 rebounds.
