A tied game at halftime ended up slipping away from the York University Lions men's basketball team, dropping their record to 3-7 with a 78-71 loss to the Laurentian Voyageurs at the Ben Avery Gymnasium in Sudbury, Ont.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- York and Laurentian, after a Voyageurs win yesterday, began the game with a tight score featuring multiple lead changes. York led by a point in the first quarter, thanks to an offence led by seven Prince Kamunga points.
- Laurentian then outscored York for the first time in the second quarter, but only by 21-20, which led to a tie game at 39-39 heading to half.
- Laurentian got out to a lead in the second half and never looked back – although the Lions didn't let them pull away and kept the game within 12 points for the majority.

York will now head to Queen's to play the Gaels on Mar. 4 and 5 in Kingston, Ont., with the first game beginning at 2:30pm on the Friday.
