Join @yubivsaa for their upcoming Black Excellence and Grit Speaker Series session with Breanna Dabriel on Feb 7th at 7pm. This session will be on Zoom. 

Breanna Dabriel is currently a second-year Teacher Candidate in the Department of Education at York. She also holds a Bilingual Honours BA with a Double Major in Canadian Studies and History from York University's Glendon Campus. Bre aspires to change the way in which education of Black-history is taught and celebrated within the educational system. She's driven by the uncovering and telling of Black histories with the goal of weaving those stories back into the Canadian historical narrative where they've belonged all along. She is next on BIVSAA's speaker series on the topic of "Beyond Black History Month and Towards Black Excellence." Be sure to tune in on Tuesday Feb 7th, @7PM we hope to see you there!
