York Women's Rugby will look to get back on track this Friday when they host the Guelph Gryphons at York's Alumni Field.

The Lions are coming off a tough loss against the Warriors last week after securing their first win of the season against Trent the week before. The Lions started strong in that one, carrying a 14-12 lead going into the half. York also managed to answer most of the Warriors comeback attempts up until the end. The Warriors finished the game scoring 17 unanswered points on their way to a 36-26 victory, sending the Lions to 1-4 on the season.

The Lions will be playing their final game of the regular season at home at Alumni Field. York will have their work cut out for them as they face the 5-0 Gryphons who currently sit atop the OUA Standings. The Lions have put up 25+ points in back-to-back games and will look to keep that streak going into this Friday's match.

The game is set to start at 7:00 PM EST at York's Alumni Field on Friday, October 9^th. Admission into the game will be free for all who want to attend, and doors will open at 6 PM EST, an hour before the game is set to start.
