The York Lions Cross Country teams showed out at the OUA Cross Country Championships this past weekend in Windsor. Both the Men's and Women's team had very competitive performances despite being short-handed for race day. The results for the OUA Championships were as follows:

WOMEN:

57. Ava Sparkes - 32:43.3

MEN:

36. Isak Fransson - 25:26.4
37. Tynan Webb - 25:27.8
41. Rhys Olson-Keating - 25:44.8
56. Lukas Renaud - 26:17.7
76. David Akerman - 27:19.9
79. Michael Muravchik - 27:37.1
92. Oliver Waddington - 28:42.6

All the athletes listed above, plus Anastasia Kirova who was absent, have qualified for the U Sports Championship on Saturday, November 14th in Hamilton, Ontario. Best of luck to all Lions competing!
