The York University Lions are heading to Kingston this Saturday, February 21, for a high-stakes OUA quarter-final matchup against the Queen's Gaels. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 pm. 

The Gaels have been a provincial powerhouse this season, boasting a near-perfect record with only one loss. However, their regular-season meeting with the Lions proved to be a battle early on; York trailed by only a single point, 17-16, at the end of the first quarter. While the Gaels eventually seized control to take the game, the Lions proved they could compete against the top ranked team. 

York's success this year has been built on relentless rebounding, cohesive team play, and a knack for shifting momentum regardless of their opponent's seeding. Coming off a gritty 66-55 round-one playoff victory over the Laurentian Voyageurs, the Lions are hungry and ready to show the province exactly what they are capable of.
