The York University Lions women's hockey team hosts its annual Roar for a Cure game on Saturday when the squad welcomes the No. 4 nationally-ranked Queen's Gaels to Canlan Ice Sports for its first home game of 2015.

Last MeetingThe Gaels shut out the Lions by a score of 5-0 in the first meeting between these two teams this season, in Kingston. Last year the Lions went 1-0-1 against Queen's, winning 3-2 in a shootout on the road and falling 2-1 in overtime at home.

- The Gaels have won two of the last four OUA championships, claiming the gold medal in 2011 and 2013.
PLAYERS TO WATCH York F Lisa Stathopoulos – The fifth-year forward is currently enjoying a career year, leading the OUA in goals (13) and total points (24). Her 24 points are five more than any other player in the conference, and she has scored two power play goals and one game winner.

Kristen Barbara – The two-time OUA all-star is second in conference scoring by defenders with 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) this season.
Queen's F Taryn Pilon – Leads the Gaels and is tied for second in the OUA with 19 points. Six of her eight goals have been scored on the power play and she has also netted three game-winning goals, the second highest mark in the conference.
F Shawna Griffin – Ranks second on the team and fourth in the OUA with 18 points (seven goals, 11 assists).
