While not mathematically eliminated from playoff contention with regulation wins being worth three points in the standings, the York University Lions women's hockey team would need a lot to go right over their final six games.
York finds itself 11 points behind the TMU Bold for the fourth and final OUA East postseason berth, meaning they would need to go on a late-season run and get some help elsewhere to sneak in. Luckily for the Lions, five of their final six games are winnable games, including two this weekend against Queen's.
The final stretch gets going Friday night in Kingston against a Gaels team that has had one of the weirder seasons in recent memory. They have just four regulation wins in 22 games so far. When taking that into account, most would surmise them to be well out of playoff contention. However, thanks to six overtime wins, they sit third in the East, a point up on TMU in fourth and three ahead of Ontario Tech, who occupies the fifth spot.

Brooke Anderson, the team's leading scorer.
Queen's
