The York University Lions men's hockey team will begin its 2023-24 season welcoming in the RMC Paladins to Canlan Ice Sports on Oct. 4, marking the beginning of a new era in Lions hockey as members of the OUA East division. The Lions were previously members of the OUA West division since the introduction of the two-division structure ahead of the 2009-10 season. The regular season has also been extended back to a 28-game schedule across the conference for the first time since 2019-20.

Beyond the season opener, other highlights on the schedule include back-to-back games against their GTA rivals, TMU and Toronto. The Lions visit the Bold on Nov. 4 and host the Varsity Blues on Nov. 9 in the return of the School Day Game to Canlan. The final home game of the regular season takes place on Feb. 3 vs. Ontario Tech, before the Lions close out the 2023-24 campaign on Feb. 10 at RMC.
