The York University Lions women's basketball team is set for a challenging road trip this weekend, heading North to face the Nipissing Lakers and the Laurentian Voyageurs. Entering the series with a strong 0.667 winning percentage, the Lions hold a distinct advantage over both opponents, who share a 0.375 win percentage. 

The demanding weekend begins Friday in North Bay against the Nipissing Lakers at 6:00 pm. Historically, this matchup has been balanced, with the teams splitting their last four annual meetings 2-2. Following this, the Lions travel to Sudbury for a 6:00 pm Saturday contest against the Laurentian Voyageurs. Here, York will aim to reverse a recent trend, as the Voyageurs have claimed victory in their last two outings against the Lions. 

With both games tipping off at 6:00 pm, fans can tune in and watch the Lions live on OUA TV.
