The York University Lions track & field team travelled to Windsor last weekend for the 2025 OUA championships, as they looked to improve on fifth place finishes for both the men's and women's teams at the 2024 event.
The Lions had several medal contenders, including jumper Arwin Mathivathanan, hurdler Tamarri Lindo, thrower Jeremy Elliott, and others. In all, the Lions brought home five medals, including three from the aforementioned athletes, as well as from jumper Ella Foster and thrower Zac Osborne.
