Friday's game will be the first time the Lions and Gee-Gees have met since last season. The Gee-Gees won both games in convincing fashion, 117-88 at Montpetit Hall (Jan. 24, 2014) in Ottawa and 110-92 at the Tait McKenzie Centre (Feb. 8, 2014). In the loss at home, Tufegdzich scored a career-high 36 points on 16-28 shooting and also grabbed 20 rebounds.

The Lions and Ravens have yet to meet this season. The Ravens held the Lions to their second and third lowest scoring output of the season last year when they won both matches 102-66 and 98-59. The last time the Lions beat the Ravens was on Feb. 9, 2010 at the Tait McKenzie Centre when the Lions shocked the nation upsetting the top ranked team, 80-74. Rookie Dejan Kravic led all players with 22 points and 17 rebounds.
