This past Saturday, the York University Lions women's cross-country team raced the 8km distance on the national stage at the U SPORTS National Championship in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The cold November weather provided the ultimate, challenging conditions for the event. The Lions finished the competitive day in 21st place overall. Leading the way for the team was first-year Lion Anastasia Kirova, whose strong performance is a powerful signal of the program's promising future.
