The York University Lions Men's Hockey team is preparing for a demanding weekend, hosting back-to-back home games at 7:00 pm both nights. 

The action begins on Friday against the Windsor Lancers. The Lions will be looking to avenge an earlier 5-1 loss to the Lancers, a game where the score remained a tight 2-1 until Windsor pulled away with three late third-period goals. Friday's matchup offers a chance for the Lions to demonstrate a full 60-minute effort and secure a crucial home-ice victory. 

The challenge continues Saturday as the Lions welcome the Laurier Golden Hawks to Toronto for the second 7:00 pm contest. York has already faced the Golden Hawks twice this season, unfortunately falling by identical 4-2 scores in both matchups. This weekend presents an opportunity for the Lions to turn the tide against familiar opponents.
