The York University Lions men's basketball team is ready for a busy week, hosting two crucial matchups at the Tait McKenzie Centre. 

First up, the Lions will face the Brock Badgers this Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 pm. This special "school day game" will welcome students from the community to the stadium. The Badgers defeated the Lions when they met both times last season, which included an intense 67-65 finish in their last Toronto contest. However, since the most recent of the games was won by only two points, the Lions will be hungry to continue this intense rivalry and seek revenge on their home court. 

The Lions then return to the court on Friday evening at 8:00 pm to take on the Algoma Thunderbirds. York has historically found consistent success against Algoma within close margins and competitive matches, and they will look to secure a vital home win to build momentum.
