The York University Lions men's hockey team hits the ice for a high-stakes weekend, starting Friday night at the Mattamy Athletic Centre against the TMU Bold. This matchup serves as a critical test for the Lions, who have struggled to find an answer for their cross-town rivals in three previous meetings this season. Seeking to break that winless streak, York will need a disciplined road performance to finally get past the Bold and secure points in the standings. 

The team returns to Canlan Ice Sports York on Saturday for a home showdown against the Guelph Gryphons. The Lions are eager for redemption after falling to the Gryphons in a high-scoring affair earlier this year.
