Our External Connections and Initiatives
Sport council facilitates several external events in connection with various organizations. Throughout the year Varsity teams choose to run their “Games for the Cure”. Sport council supports teams who choose to run a Game for the Cure by promotions and fundraising. As well, Sport Council is heavily involved in the organization of various events for Bell Let’s Talk. In the month of January Sport Council promotes mental health awareness through Instagram posts, guest speakers, Bell Let’s Talk bubbles and Bell Let’s talk hats. The aim of Sport Council’s involvement in external events is to promote the awareness of several causes.
