York University

Dave Chambers was a setter with York's men's volleyball team from 1978-83. During that time, he led the team to three OUAA gold medals (1979-80, 1980-81, 1981-82). Highlights of his playing career include being named an OUAA all-star four times (1980-83) and a CIAU all-Canadian three times (1981-83). Chambers was consistently among the national leaders in service aces and digs throughout his playing career. He is the first men's volleyball player inducted to the York University Sport Hall of Fame.
