Grant Parobec won four OUAA gold medals (1980-82, 1984) and participated in the CIAU championships three times as a member of the York men's basketball team from 1979 to 1984. He was named to the OUA East all-star team on two occasions (1983-84) and received CIAU second-team all-Canadian honours in his final year (1984).
