York's female athlete of the year in 1992-93, Sandra Levy had an outstanding career with both the field and indoor hockey teams. As a member of the Yeowomen field hockey team, Levy was a five-time OWIAA all-star (1985-89) and a four-time CIAU all-Canadian (1986-89). She was a member of York's CIAU silver-medal teams in 1984-85 and 1986-87 as well as the 1988-89 CIAU bronze-medal team. Levy was selected a tournament all-star four times at the CIAU championship. She was also a four-time OWIAA all-star (1986-87, 89-90, 90-91, 92-93) with York's indoor hockey team that won three golds and one silver OWIAA medals. As a member of the Canadian national team, she competed in the 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games. Levy obtained a BA in English in 1990 and a LLB from Osgoode in 1995.
