Sharon Creelman is a graduate of York University's outstanding field hockey program. A four-time OWIAA all-star (1985-86, 1988-89) and a three-time CIAU all-Canadian (1985-86, 1987-88, 1988-89), Creelman led the OWIAA in scoring in 1987-88 with 18 goals. She was a member of York's CIAU silver-medal team in 1984-85 and the bronze-medal team in 1988-89 and was selected a tournament all-star three times. York's female athlete of the year in 1988-89, Creelman was also a member of the Canadian national team and she competed in three Olympic Games (1984, 1988 and 1992).
